2 Simple Diagonal Cut Cards you’ll want to CASE!

Now just 98 cards to go!

I love cards that don’t look simple when in fact they are. Today’s diagonal cut cards are so easy to make that I can envision a redo in the other 98 patterns/colors of designer paper I’m featuring today! You’re probably wondering what the heck I’m talking about but never fear I’ll explain.

Today I’m featuring the 200 beautiful designer paper pieces that Stampin’ Up! is giving as a FREE gift when you purchase the Starter Kit.

There are actually 50 colors, in 4 different patterns, with 100 unique sheets of designer paper! Plus the designer paper patterns are so easy to play with because they are all simple patterns in monochromatic designs. I’ve made two versions of my card with just two of these designer papers. Can you visualize the potential?

What you see in the photo above is just 20 of the color/pattern combinations that you’ll get for FREE when you buy the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit by 2/28/21! What a fun rainbow of colors and simple patterns! The backsides of these sheets feature two alternative beautiful patterns. One of those patterns is shown in my Bermuda Bay card on the left.

The card you see here was the first card I made. It features one of the Bermuda Bay designer paper pieces which is one of the colors in the Stampin’ Up! Bold Color Collection.

I’ve used the Vine Design Stamp Set for my stamped images in the following ink colors: Poppy Parade, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight. The stamped strip of white is popped up on a strip of a foam adhesive sheet so that it really stands out.

The next card was made during this week’s Facebook Live event.

You’ll find the video at the end of this post. Make sure to watch this video to learn all the tips and tricks!

The inks used on this card are Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, and Daffodil Delight. The Blackberry Bliss flowers are all stamped in second ink, the Mossy Meadow images are stamped in both first and second ink, and last but not least, the Daffodil Delight image is stamped in first ink.

In addition to these diagonal cut cards, in my Facebook Live video, I showed how to make this adorable little box with some simple folding.

I used two sheets of 6″ x 6″ designer paper, one for the top and the other for the bottom. There was NO cutting or adhesive required to make this box!
