3 Birthday Cards To Make

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing 3 birthday cards to make using various retiring, carryover, and new products!

These cards use the Alphabet A La Mode dies which are one of my favorite products in the current mini-catalog. I’m so happy this item is sticking around in the New 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalog! These dies are used for the focal pieces on all of the birthday cards to make in this post. I’ve also used the Bright & Beautiful Designer paper which will be available starting on May 2, 2023, in the new catalog.

The retiring products used here include the White Organdy Glitter Ribbon and the gorgeous Fine Shimmer Paper. Here’s a close-up of the adorable little bow made with this ribbon and the touch of Fine Shimmer paper on the edge of the card.

Get these products before they retire (or sell out) on 5/1/23!

The “birthday” image comes from the Enjoy The Rhythm Stamp Set. Watch my video below to see how I used only the “birthday” from the “happy birthday” stamp.

I love the NEW soft pink color, called Bubble Bath, that is coming in the new catalog!

This color was used for the card base and the frame around the “happy”. It’s a really pretty color and it pairs with Fresh Freesia beautifully! This color scheme would also work beautifully for a baby card don’t you think?

For my first card, I used the negative space “happy” piece, instead of the actual letters. So… I had to make a card with the actual letters too!

For the focal piece here I’ve used the die-cut Bubble Bath cardstock layer leftover from when I cut the frame for the first card. Plus I’ve used the “happy” letters die-cuts leftover from the focal piece for the first card. The Fresh Freesia frame was created using two of the Deckled Edge Dies. Plus I’ve got a couple of pieces of Vellum cardstock here as well.

I’ve done something on this card that I almost never do!

My Bright & Beautiful designer paper piece covers the whole card base. I don’t usually go for this look but in this case, I love it! It allows me to show off the pretty designer paper just because there’s more of it than if I added more layers.

For my third card, I used all the same products and layout but created a completely different look!

This would make a great birthday card for anyone!

This card features another brand-new color and a returning color as well.

The light yellow card base and frame are made with a new color called Lemon Lolly. The color of the focal piece (and layer) is Lemon Lime Twist which is a returning color. Customers will be able to purchase these two new colors in a variety of products starting on May 2, 2023.

Truth be told, the three cards shared above were all inspired by the card you see below.

This card was made using the gorgeous Sale-A-Bration paper called Dainty Flowers. I never managed to share this card while the designer paper was available. Since I love the layout so much, I decided to recreate it using new products. This is such a pretty card don’t you think?
