Today’s folio and cards are made with the Artistry Blooms Suite and are one of a set of 3 folios shared last week.
In my previous post, I shared all the details of the first and smallest capacity folio (bottom two folios in the photo below). In today’s post, you’ll see my second folio with it’s coordinating cards. This second one (upper left) is my medium-capacity folio that features the Artistry Blooms Suite. This medium size folio fits up to 3 cards and envelopes.

This second folio is a bit more involved than the first one but it’s still easy to make!
Today’s folio is different from the first folio in that it has 6, instead of just 3 scored lines. This allows me to create extra width along the bottom as well as on the spine.

Here’s a view of the spines of these three folios. The spine widths are ⅜”, ½” and ¾” (right to left). The bigger the spine width, the greater the capacity of the folio.

The width along the bottom of the pocket also effect the capacity of the folio. Here’s a look at the bottom of these three folios:

Unlike the first folio design, this second folio requires the use of adhesive to put it together!
In the photo below you’ll see the dimensions and scoring required to make this greeting card folio. It also shows most of the spots where you’ll need adhesive as well!

When you fold up and attach the pieces it essentially makes an open box shaped pocket on the left and right to insert your cards. Watch my video tutorial at the end of this post for all the details.
Once the folio pockets are created you’ll attach a piece of ribbon to wrap around the folio. The ribbon on the front will get tacked down when you attach the focal piece.

I like to put adhesive directly onto the ribbon on the back so that it attaches to the back of the folio as well.

I created my front focal piece for this folio using the Artistry Blooms Designer Paper from the Artistry Blooms Suite.
In fact, I stamped directly onto the designer paper with an image from the Hand-Drawn Blooms Stamp Set (also part of the Artistry Blooms Suite), and then I added some Clear Wink of Stella for some added interest.

The sentiment here comes from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set. It’s stamped around the edges with the same image from the Hand-Drawn Blooms set and the images are colored in using ink refills with my Wink of Stella brush. By coloring it this way I get color and shimmer applied to my images at the same time!

The sentiment is stamped with Memento Black ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, die-cut with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies, and then popped up on Dimensionals.

Here’a look at the inside of this folio.
I’ve put three coordinating cards inside this folio. These cards are multilayered and a bit fat but I was still able to squeeze three cards and envelopes into this folio.

Now, truth be told, I actually designed the cards before the folio. These are my current customer Thank You card and so I made about 20 of these cards to send to customers who place orders in my online store. I can’t believe that I have just a few of these cards left to send!

Here are some of the pieces and parts as I was in the process of making these cards.

I absolutely adore the designer paper in the Artistry Blooms Suite. Here I’ve used my favorite patterns in this gorgeous pack of paper! I just love the range of colors and this isn’t even all of them. There’s a green paper similar to these which I have yet to play with.

These are cards quick and easy to make! To learn more about how to make this card check out my previous post by clicking HERE.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s folio and coordinating cards!
Watch for one more post coming soon, where I’ll share my final and largest folio made with the Forever Fern Stamp Set. The third folio also has some gorgeous cards inside which will be included in the next post.

Watch my Facebook Live video ahead to learn how to assemble this folio. In that video, I’ve also included a segment on how to customize the size of your folio!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my projects today and that you’re inspired to make your own folios! At the end of this post, you’ll find project dimensions and a complete supply list for today’s folio.
