Card Ideas with the Beautiful Autumn Bundle

In today’s post, you’ll see some simple yet elegant card ideas with the Beautiful Autumn Bundle.

These cards feature the Gilded Autumn Specialty designer paper and the gorgeous Brushed Metallic cardstock in three different colors. Plus these cards are quick and easy to make! I hope you’ll enjoy checking out these card ideas with the Beautiful Autumn Bundle! I’ve got five versions of this card using the various patterns of designer paper. Here’s the first two:

In today’s post, you'll see some simple yet elegant card ideas with the Beautiful Autumn Bundle. These cards are quick and easy to make too!

One of the things I love about this card design is that even though the layout is exactly the same on all of them, the cards each look unique with each different designer paper pattern.

I love the bold colored stripes on the version below. For this card, I’ve used the brown/copper Brushed Metallic cardstock in behind the sentiment and the copper trim for the bow. The two leaves and acorn were punched from the brushed metallic cardstock as follows:

  • Oak Leaf is punched from the “White Gold”
  • Maple Leaf is punched from the “Brown Copper”
  • Acorn is punched from the brushed “Gold”

On all my cards I used these punched shapes in the same colors as listed above.

This next card really shows off the gorgeous metallic elements in this specialty designer paper. I’ve used the gold Brushed Metallic cardstock for the sentiment backing and gold cord from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo pack.

Check out the “brushed” texture in this metallic card stock!

I’ve used my bone folder to give some shape to the acorn. It’s popped up on a dimensional and somewhat rounded to give it a more realistic 3-D look.

Here’s the other three card variations:

This next card is the simplest among the set because I did not add a bow under the sentiment. For this version, the sentiment is backed with the “white gold” Brushed Metallic cardstock. You may be able to tell here that it’s just a lighter shade of gold. The oak leaf above it is punched using the same metallic card stock.

Here’s a look at the shiny elements on another pattern of this specialty designer paper. So pretty right?
