Today I’m featuring a card making technique with Press n’ Seal and some of my favorite punches from Stampin’ Up!.
I’ve mostly seen this card making technique with Press n’ Seal done with floral images, so I wanted to mix things up a bit and try it with some different kinds of shapes. For my cards today I’ve used the cat punch, dog builder punch and the Gleaming Ornaments punch pack.
I first started playing with the cat punch a few weeks back. With Halloween coming, I wanted to go with a Halloween theme and fall color scheme. Here are my first two cards:

The Press n’ Seal technique is really best learned by watching it being done. I’ve shown how to do this technique in my video later in this post. With that said, the basic idea is that it simply allows you to place and hold your images in whatever arrangement you want, die-cut a shape out of the center (a rectangle in this case) and then get two cards from the original piece. I’ve also raised the shapes up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For my second pair of cards, I die-cut the Press n’ Seal piece with a smaller rectangle than on the first pair of cards above.
The card on the left is the ones I showed in my Facebook Live. The card on the right is the one I finished off-camera with the “frame of cats”, created when I die cut the center piece, for the card on the left.

The “Life is a Beautiful Thing” sentiment comes from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. I’ve used my Wink of Stella brush to add a little sparkle to the letters and a few Monster Bash Enamel Shapes on the four corners.

This next card was made with the dog builder punch.
Instead of facing the dogs all the same way (like I did with the cats) I faced them in different directions just to mix it up a bit.

The little heart shape is part of the dog builder punch adding another fun element to this card.

This last pair of cards are made with the Gleaming Ornaments punch pack.
I’ve also used the new Christmas Rose stamp set for the sentiment plus some of the gorgeous Noble Peacock foil and specialty paper.

The Stylish Scrolls embossing folder was used to create the dry embossed front of this card.

I just love this last card and it may be my favorite!
