Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop and February 2024 Color Challenge!

The color scheme for the February 2024 Color Challenge includes Gorgeous Grape and three of the soon-to-be-retired 2022 – 2024 InColors; Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, and Starry Sky.
Today’s project features the Foursquare Decorative Masks, and Shimmery White Embossing Paste. I LOVE how this turned out and it was pretty easy to do too.
Adding color to the embossing paste is the secret to creating this gorgeous focal piece! It’s so striking on the black don’t you think?
The sentiment is created using the Alphabet-A-La-Mode dies. I’ve used the negative space rather than using the die-cut letters themselves! The piece is attached to a piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock.
For the sentiment, another option I played with was to put another piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock in behind. Here’s what the card looks like with that small change. It makes the “HI” stand out a bit more. I really like both options!
For the background layer, I’ve used a piece of the gorgeous Perennial Lavender designer series paper. A small strip of the same paper was used for the inside of the card.
