Flip Flop Fold Cards

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus a new and original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

I’ll be sharing 7 different cards made with four different stamp sets and all of them feature my NEW Reverse Resist Stamping technique.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

Five of today’s projects are flip flop fold cards like the ones you see below.

This first set of cards is made with the To Every Season Bundle from the Holiday Catalog. This bundle and items in the bundle are retiring as of January 2, 2020. The bundle includes the To Every Season Stamp Set and coordinating Every Season Punch Pack. This adorable set of punches is on sale too!!! As you can see I’ve made cards for four occasions to coordinate with the stamps and punches in the set.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

Now, the Reverse Resist stamping technique is a variation of the Masking Tape technique, which is just a fun way to “stamp” with strips of masking tape. Below I’ll include a link to another post with projects made with the Masking Tape technique and some fun variations.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

These Flip Flop Fold cards are perfect to use with this technique because, in the process of doing it, you get two focal pieces.

So on these cards, I’ve used one piece on the front and the other on the inside. The color scheme on this card is Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Highland Heather, and Gorgeous Grape.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

The images on the front panel of each of these cards are heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I then did the Masking Tape Technique over the embossed images.

The inside pieces were created using the same Masking Tape pieces from when I created the outside front pieces. Watch my video at the end of this post for all the details. The color scheme on this card is Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red.

The simple line-drawn images in this stamp set, work very well for this technique.

That said, the images used on the next card are a bit more detailed so they don’t show up quite as well with the masking tape technique, particularly since they are embossed. I could have sponged a bit to help define the shapes more. I did exactly that on a different card in my video.

Here’s the inside of this card with the focal piece made with the Reverse Resist Stamping technique. The color scheme on this card is Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, and Seaside Spray.

Last but not least, here is my valentine’s version of this card design. These simple images are just perfect for the technique!

This Valentine’s version might just be my favorite of this set of four. The color scheme on this card is Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, and Poppy Parade.

The last of my flip flop fold cards is made with two new products from the Mini-Catalog that goes live on January 4, 2020.

These two products are definitely among my top favorites in the January – June Mini-Catalog!

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

I’ve used a stamp set called Positive Thoughts (p.23) and the Garden Gateway Dies (p.13) which coordinates with the Grace’s Garden Stamp Set. I am in love with the fern image in the set that I’ve used here.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

As with the previous cards, I’ve heat embossed my fern images with clear embossing powder and then did the Masking Tape technique for the focal piece on the front of the card.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

For the inside piece I’ve done the Reverse Resist Technique as you can see here:

Here’s a top view of the card with the card as it’s starting to be opened:

This next card was made using the Rooted In Nature Stamp Set.

For this one, I’ve used Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, and Soft Sea Foam ink.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

I did not make a flip flop fold card for this one, because I wasn’t totally happy with how the Reverse Resist focal piece turned out. The fact is that the tree image on the Soft Sea Foam section of the Reverse Resist panel (laying flat) really didn’t show up well enough relative to the other sections/colors.

Tip: It could be that the color (Sof Sea Foam) was just too light OR that I didn’t press hard enough when I was rubbing the masking tape against the heat embossed images OR I didn’t press hard enough when “stamping” the “reverse” ink that was on the masking tape onto the second focal piece.

Last but not least, this final card is made with the Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set.

This is one of the new Sale-A-Bration items that you can get for FREE with a purchase of $50 or more in merchandise. The Sale-A-Bration promotion begins on January 3rd, 2020.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some new product sneak peeks, some flip flop fold cards, plus an original technique I call Reverse Resist Stamping.

While this is not a flip flop fold card, I have used the two focal pieces I created using the Reverse Resist Technique to create two fun birthday cards. The color scheme for these cards is Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink.

The card on the right is made with the Masking Tape Technique and the card on the left is made with the Reverse Resist Stamping Technique.
