The Flower and Field Designer Paper is the featured product on today’s project. It’s colorful, pretty, and includes a wide range of floral designs! Plus, it’s FREE!!!
Each month we do an idea-sharing challenge in my Team Facebook group. For the month of January, the theme was a sketch challenge and I decided to use the Flower and Field Designer Paper for my design.
I’ve created three versions of my card with three of the designer paper patterns in this paper pack. If you receive this free card kit from me, you’ll be getting the pieces to make one of these designs. If you’re an online stamp club member you’ll receive two of these designs in your project kits packet.

For all three designs I’ve used the same card stock pieces for the sentiment focal element. I chose Granny Apple Green because it was the one color that appeared in all three of the Flower and Field Designer paper patterns used.

For the other two colored card stock layers I picked colors that coordinated with the specific designer paper used on each card. The colors used here are Poppy Parade and Bumblebee.

For the foliage I’ve used an image from the Vine Design Stamp Set. The sentiment image comes from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set which is my new favorite sentiment set.

Now as you can see below the Vine Design Set has some great sentiments in it and I just love the font. I could have used one of these images for my sentiment but they are a little smaller I wanted which is why I used the Happy Thoughts set instead.

Here is the second version of my card.

I’ve used Just Jade for my banner and white card stock for the panel in behind. For the project kits mailed to club members and Free Card Kit recipients, I replaced the white panel for a Pool Party panel which created a softer look, and in the end, I decided it looked a little more pleasing.

For my last and final card, I’ve used Pool Party card stock for my banner and white for the panel in behind.
In this case, the white panel goes well with the simple daisies of the designer paper. Plus, the only other color in the paper is yellow and I think it would have been a bit too bold and distracting.

This version is the least busy of the three designs and for that reason may be my favorite. How about you? Do you have a favorite. Leave a comment and let me know! I’d love to hear from you!!!

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my projects made with the Flower and Field designer paper and the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set!
