Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop and June 2022 Color Challenge
The color scheme for the June 2022 Color Challenge is the, 2022 – 2024 Stampin’ Up! In Colors. Now for today’s project, I did not attempt to use all these colors on a single card but I stretched the rules of the color challenge a bit by including some additional colors as well. My goal was to show these new In Colors in combination with other related colors. I had so much fun creating lots of different color combinations on this very simple, elegant card!
My projects also feature the new Botanical Layers Stamp Set. I just LOVE this set and have used every single image in it on my projects today!

This first card is made with one of the new In Colors plus two additional colors.
I simply stamped my circles in the three different colors and then heat embossed my images with Silver embossing powder. I’ve used one of the botanical images plus one of the small accent images for a bit of added interest. Then the sentiment was stamped in black in the lower right-hand corner. The stamped piece is popped up on a foam adhesive sheet and voila, the card is done. So quick and easy!

The stamped image used here is a bit smaller than the others so it’s actually stamped twice even though it looks continuous. I’ve used Parakeet Party (the In Color) and it’s paired with Granny Apple Green and Garden Green.
Here’s a close-up with each of the colors labeled:

For this one I used a different botanical image plus another green color combination that also works beautifully:

This next one is made with two of the new In Colors plus Pacific Point.
For this card, I brought in the two additional small accent images in the set. I’m not sure what they are but I like them.

The Tahitian Tide and Starry Sky are the In colors. Here’s a close up with each of the colors labeled:

On this next one, the Starry Sky was replaced with Night of Navy Ink and I used another one of the wonderful images in the Botanical Layers Stamp Set. The Night of Navy brings a whole different feel to the look of this card.

Here I’ve featured the fourth new In Color, Sweet Sorbet.
When I first saw this color I thought it was a dark pink but it’s actually a bit closer to a red so I decided to use Real Red and Poppy Parade for my two additional colors on this card.

Here’s a close-up with each of the colors labeled:

For this one, I decided to use a couple of pinks in combination with the Sweet Sorbet.
The pinks provide a wider range of monochromatic colors which I really like. On this card, the fourth botanical image in the set was used.

Being a purple lover, this last one is probably my favorite color combination.
Did I say how much I adore this image? LOL! It’s just so delicate and pretty!

Orchid Oasis is the new In Color and the fifth one in the set. It’s really a blueish purple and I may even like it better than the more pure purples below it! Either way, I love how this color combination turned out, especially with this delicate foliage image.

Here’s another combination that also works beautifully.

As you can see in the stamp set below there are several sentiments in the stamp set and additional small elements. I’ve used the images in this set on the cards in this post, except for just one of the sentiments.
So have you noticed there are no circle stamps in this set?
The truth is, I made my own circle stamp just so I could create this card! Scroll down to learn the details.

I actually created three circle stamps so I could use one per color. If you decide to do this what I recommend is that you use two layers of fun foam glued together so the stamp is tall enough so the ink is less likely to get on the acrylic block when it’s inked up.

After you’ve created your fun foam stamp you’ll need to put a small bit of adhesive on the fun foam so it will stick to the acrylic block.
