Make Your Own Beautiful Autumn Greeting Cards!

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing two autumn greeting cards.

Autumn is my favorite season of the year in part because I love fall colors. Today’s autumn greeting cards feature a beautiful earthy color scheme and the Autumn Leaves stamp set from the September to December Stampin’ Up! mini-catalog.

This is the first of two cards you’ll see in this post.

This project was created for the October Simple Suite Stamper’s Tutorial Bundle.

Each Tutorial Bundle includes 12 different tutorials featuring the Autumn Leaves Bundle and Suite. Place ANY size order in my online store this month and you’ll get this tutorial bundle for FREE as a thank-you for your order!

The color scheme used to make this card is Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Wild Wheat, and Early Espresso. The sentiment is heat embossed in gold and I’ve added a few additional gold details with the trim and sequins. This is a pretty simple and quick card to make, but it also has a bit of wow to it as well.

My second card is a variation of the first card.

This one is a bit more complicated but is totally worth the extra effort in my opinion!

I’m calling the technique used on this card, Cracked Tiles.

Here’s a look at the background piece, without the sentiment, which is really the main event of this card. It’s a bit crazy and fun don’t you think?!

The sentiment comes from the Phrases for All Stamp Set and the spaces between the “Cracked Tiles” are filled with Gilded Leafing. The Autumn Leaves Stamp Set is a lovely two-step stamping set that gives these images lots of dimension and interest. The set can be purchased alone or as part of a bundle that includes a wonderful set of coordinating dies. You save 10% when you purchase the bundle!
