March 2026 Color Challenge and Blog Hop

March 2026 Color Challenge

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop and March 2026 Color Challenge!

If you’ve already started the blog hop you should be coming from Tatiana Tobin’s blog post. If you’ve just joined in, make sure to do the full hop and see all the wonderful projects created by the Color Fusers Design team! The color scheme for the March 2026 Color Challenge includes Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, and Berry Burst.

Today’s project features fun water colored circles and the Friendly Foliage Stamp Set.

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of reels on Facebook by a wonderful water color artist, Andrea Nelson. Today’s card was inspired by her work/play. I plan to play around with more of the ideas she shares because she makes it look so simple and fun!

Watercolored circles was my fun theme for the March 2026 Color Challenge. A sentiment from the Friendly Foliage Stamp Set was also used.

I started out by creating various sizes of circles in the three color challenge colors with my paintbrush. After my piece was dry, I used the wet on dry water color technique to get the layered effect without blending the colors. Then outlines were added around the circles (a technique Andrea uses a lot), plus, specks of paint and water for some added interest.

The simple sentiment was heat embossed in black so it would pop next to the crazy bold circles of the focal piece. I wanted a simple, modern looking sentiment to go with the circles and this “sending love” sentiment from the Friendly Foliage stamp set worked perfectly.
