Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop and May 2019 Color Challenge!

The color challenge this month was a bit difficult for me and yet I love that I can always come up with something I really like in the end. Today’s projects feature the Timeless Textures Stamp Set, Vibrant Vases Stamp Set and Triple Time Stamping!

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop and May 2019 Color Challenge! Todays cards feature the Timeless Textures Stamp Set, and Triple Time Stamping!

My first card is quite simple. I used the Timeless Textures Stamp Set which is retiring as of June 3, 2019.

I am so sad to see this set go away and so I just had to create with it as a way to say goodbye. Even though I don’t love this color combination, I love the images used on this card, which made it all work beautifully.

A few project details:

  • The Night of Navy images are done with second inking.
  • The image in Pear Pizzazz, my favorite in the set, is stamped with first and second inking.
  • The specks are stamped in the Grapefruit Grove also in first and second inking.
  • Behind the sentiment I’ve added some of the NEW Magnolia Lane twine and,
  • For a bit of bling, I’ve wrapped some Gold Metallic thread around the bottom of the focal piece and added three Rhinestone Jewels.
  • The Rhinestone Jewels are colored with a the Light Daffodil Delight Blends Alcohol Marker so they would coordinate with the Gold Metallic Thread.
  • Last but not least, the sentiment is popped up on dimensionals.

This next card has many of the same elements as on the first card. The main difference is I’ve used the Triple Time Stamping technique.

To learn how to do Triple Time Stamping watch my video tutorial just ahead.

I love the sentiment on this card which comes from the Vibrant Vases Stamp Set.

Fortunately this stamp set will not be retiring and I’m so happy about that. I really love this sentiment especially because I think it’s so easy to forget to celebrate every tiny victory, and I think it’s so important to do that!

When I was adding my colored rhinestones on this card, I was envisioning that each one represented a tiny victory!

Do you remember to celebrate every tiny victory?

I can’t honestly say that I do however, I find that when I do, I’m just a bit happier and more content in my life! Let me know what you think of this idea by leaving a comment on this post.
