Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop andNovember 2021 Color Challenge!
I’m not quite sure why but I just love the November 2021 Color Challenge! I guess it’s because the colors are so rich and warm! It was so fun to create today’s cards and I hope you love both of them. These projects feature the new Eden’s Garden Stamp Set which is an early release item from the January to June 2022 mini-catalog. It will be available for customers to purchase starting tomorrow, 11/2. Wahoo!
For this first card design, I used all the small foliage images in the Eden’s Garden Stamp Set to sort of create my own designer paper. I love all these delicate images. They are each unique and beautiful in their own way.

For most of the images, I used just first inking but for the images in Cinnamon Cider and Misty Moonlight, I used first and second ink to add a bit of dimension and interest. I also added three “Wonderful Gems” in two different sizes. They’re clear with little gold flecks so they add a touch of subtle bling. Here’s a close up of this lovely little gem!

Speaking of bling, do you see the small strip of Gold Specialty paper in behind the sentiment? I absolutely ADORE this paper and think it adds a lovely elegant touch to this card. The sentiment comes from the Eden’s Garden Stamp Set. It is heat embossed with white embossing powder and the ends were punched using the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.

All in all this card is quick and easy to make. Everything is attached with regular adhesive or glue dots except for the Early Espresso layer which is attached to the front of the card with dimensional. Easy peasy!

My second card is simply a variation on the first design.

For this version, the largest floral image in the set was added into the mix. I didn’t want it to take center stage so made sure to just use parts of the image on three of the edges.

Just like on the first card, some images were stamped only with first ink, and others were stamped with both first and second ink. Plus I’ve used Blending Brushes to add some background color over and around all the images.

For this design, I also brought in the 2020 – 2022 In Color Square Gems. Can you see how they have facets that catch the light? I was so excited to use these lovely gems to flank the corners of my design. I’ve had them for quite some time and this was the perfect use for them!

The layout is exactly the same as the first card and the pieces are attached in the same way. Again, this was a quick and easy card to make, maybe even easier than the first one!

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my two cards today using the November 2021 Color Challenge colors!
