October 2022 Color Challenge

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop and October 2022 Color Challenge!

If you’ve already started the blog hop you should be coming from the talented Sue Vine’s blog post. If you’ve just joined in, make sure to do the full hop and see all the wonderful projects created by the Color Fusers Design team! The color scheme for the October 2022 Color Challenge is Early Espresso, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, and Bermuda Bay. I really struggled with this color combination but finally managed to create this project with the Bouquet of Thanks stamp set.

To create the background here I applied inks directly to an acrylic block as shown below. You’ll spray the block next with some water and stamp the block onto a piece of Watercolor Paper. I do love how the colored mixed and moved on the watercolor paper!

After the watercolor paper is dry you’ll stamp the floral image in Early Espresso ink. I then used a Water Painter to spread the Early Espresso ink and color in the flowers and leaves. While it’s hard to see here I also added some Clear Wink of Stella accents on the flowers.
