The color scheme for the October 2025 Color Challenge inspired me to break out the Textured Notes Stamp Set. This is the first project I’ve made with this set which is new to my collection.
Today’s project features one of my favorite things to make and give as a gift… a magnetic bookmark. This is for those of us that still like to hold a book in hand and turn the pages rather than reading on a computer screen or kindle.
This is a super simple project to make and you can use any stamps that inspire you! I stamped a variety of images using the Textured Notes and Elements of Text Stamp Set. I then added some color along the edges with my blending brushes.
First and second stamping was used to get a variety of shades of color and provide the feeling of depth to the scene.
I use a magnet sheet cut down to insert inside my bookmark. I love how the magnets hold the pages of the book so it doesn’t fall out and I loose my place.
