The Pleased as Punch DSP is the featured product on today’s cards. I’ll be sharing two card layouts but seven different cards.
- The first card layout is a shaker card, and I’ve created two versions.
- The second card layout is a Clean and Simple design that’s not exactly a fun fold but it’s a little different from a traditional card.
In the photo below you’ll see my pair of shaker cards.
The first one is created with the Pleased As Punch designer series paper (DSP), and the second one features the From My Heart designer series paper.

This card is intended to be a traditional Valentine’s card and it’s simple to make. You will need a die-cutting machine, some die-cuts, and foam adhesive strips. There’s a complete supply list at the end of this post.

I’ve used three different dies including, the Rectangle Stitched Dies, the Stitched Shapes Dies to create the window and last but not least, the Detailed Hearts Die for all the little hearts. Check out my video at the end of this post for step by step instructions.

My second shaker card is also intended to be a Valentines card but, of course, it’s a less traditional look with this fun, colorful, springtime color palette.

The Pleased As Punch DSP is especially fun and versatile because…
…it coordinates with four punches that are currently available in either the January to June Mini-Catalog or the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. The punched flowers you see on this card are punched using the Small Bloom Punch, which you can get for FREE with qualifying orders during Sale-A-Bration.
The other punches that coordinate with the Pleased As Punch DSP are the Heart Punch Pack, Umbrella Builder Punch and the Tulip Builder Punch.

For all of today’s projects, I’ve used the Peaceful Moments stamp set for the sentiments. I love the versatility of the sentiments in this set.

This next set of cards are all made with the Pleased As Punch DSP and they show off just 4 of the 8 patterns included with this paper.
There’s one pattern missing that I especially love and it’s the one with the umbrellas. I showed this pattern in my video, so I hope you’ll check it out to see this one missing pattern because it’s just so cute!
The Pleased As Punch DSP is a limited time offering until March 31st, or while supplies last!

The card in this next photo was the first of my four designs.
I’ve created this card in two color schemes. The second one is the one I made in my video. Since today is Valentine’s day I really wanted to create a card that could be used for this occasion. That said, clearly, this card could be used for any occasion.

I love how the second version came out too with these pastel-like colors. I don’t usually go for pastels but just love how soft the colors are on this one.
One of the things I love about this card is the colored ribbons. I’ve used the Whisper White Crinkled Seam binding and colored it with various colors of Blends Alcohol Markers.
On the “three hearts” card on the left, I’ve used Dark Blends Alcohol markers to color the ribbon in Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Calypso Coral. For the second “three hearts” card, made in my video, I used Light Blends Alcohol markers in Highland Heather, Rich Razzleberry and Calypso Coral.

Check out the difference in the ribbon color for the two colored with the light and dark Calypso Coral Blends Alcohol Markers. The one on the top left is colored with the Dark and the one on the bottom right is colored with the Light Calypso Coral blends Alcohol Marker. I just love the rainbow of colors!
Can you see the texture on the inside panel of this card?
I CASE’d (copy and share everything) that element from a swap I got last month. I loved it immediately and have been waiting for the perfect way to use it.

About 1-1/4″ of the right side of this Whisper White cardstock is dry embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder. It’s simple to do but adds some interest and a fun feature to these cards.

This Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding is probably the most versatile ribbon ever because it’s so easy to change the color to meet the needs of any project!
For this card, I’ve used the Dark Bermuda Bay Blends Alcohol Marker to add color to this ribbon.

For the Tulip and Striped card, I’ve used a Dark Granny Apple Green Blends Alcohol marker to color the ribbon.

I just love these colorful cards made with the Pleased As Punch DSP!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my projects today so much that I’ve convinced you that you just have to get some of this Pleased As Punch DSP right away! Remember, it’s only available while supplies last so if you love it, don’t delay getting some NOW before it’s gone!
