I’m just loving the Share What You Love Suite, especially the designer paper, which is the featured product on my cards today.
My in person and online clubs made one or more of these projects in May and June! This specialty designer paper (DSP) includes 24 – 12″ x 12″ sheets of gorgeous, relatively thick paper, with several of the patterns having a pearlized finish to them.
I made seven variations of this card using the different DSP patterns in the pack. I’ll be sharing all these versions today.
This is the version I showed in my video tutorial, which you’ll find ahead:

The background color is Tranquil Tide with accents of Mint Macaron. I used some Solid Black Bakers Twine combined with the Mint Macaron Natures Twine (comes in a pack with four colors) to create a little airbow to finish off this card.
The next card is the same color scheme but this designer paper sheet has pearlized elements, so I added some dimension and silver thread behind the sentiment piece.

In this next photo you can see the pearlized effect on the DSP and the silver thread peaking out behind the sentiment. The silver thread is subtle but I really like it as an accent of shine to tie into the pearlized finish.
So… a number of the products in this suite have a pearlized finish and there’s a special reason for this.
This year marks Stampin’ Up!’s 30th anniversary of being in business, and the pearl is apparently what’s used to commemorate 30 years. So not only does the DSP have this lovely finish, but there are pearlized doilies and Artisan Pearls, in coordinating colors too, that is part of this suite.

Here’s a closer look at the sentiment piece:

This next version uses a simple sentiment. I’ve created an airbow using some black shiny cord.

Here’a close up of the bow so you can see the shiny finish:

This next version uses the “fancy” sentiment piece, but instead of the airbow, I’ve simply used a few rhinestone jewels to add a little pop of shine.
These two little elements take this design up a notch. I love bling for that added extra special touch!

The background color here is Grapefruit Grove (a new In Color) with accents of Petal Pink (a new color in the Subtles collection).
I used some Solid Black Bakers Twine, doubled up, to create a little airbow. You can’t tell from this photo, but there is a gorgeous pearlized finish on this piece of DSP.

The primary color in this next version is So Saffron.
The designer paper is pearlized and I’ve created the “fancy” sentiment piece, but in this case, I’ve used the Gold Metallic Thread to tie in with the yellow tones of the card stock and DSP.

Here’s a close up of the sentiment piece:

The next two cards use Mossy Meadow, one of my favorite returning colors, in combination with either Pear Pizzazz or Crumb Cake.
I really love all these designer paper patterns but sort of have a soft spot for these last two. I just adore the delicate floral in this next card! It’s just so light, happy and pretty to me!!!

Last but not least, I love the Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon with this designer series paper.

This DSP pattern has a pearlized finish, which makes it even more special in person. Check it out here:
