In today’s post, I’ll be creating a little magic by combining designer paper, stamping, and Wink of Stella with the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Drawn Blooms Stamp Set!
Today’s projects were inspired by fellow demonstrator Anne Marie Hile, who presented at the May 2020 OnStage Online event. She featured the Artistry Blooms Suite in all her projects. Seeing her creations convinced me that I needed to have the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Drawn Blooms Bundle! I kept these projects pretty simple, but there are some fun little details that you won’t want to miss!

This first card is the simplest of the three. The images are simply stamped on a piece of Coastal Cabana card stock. I then added some Wink of Stella to some on the flowers, a sentiment, and two Elegant Faceted Gems at the bottom. I’ve used the clear faceted gems on this version.

For this next card instead of using card stock for the stamped piece, I’ve used a piece of the gorgeous Artistry Blooms designer series paper.
Several of the patterns in this paper have these absolutely sumptuous combinations, and gradations of color, from different parts of the rainbow.
Plus, check out the subtle texture in this designer paper as well! It’s like old, worn paper but it’s still fresh and beautiful! I love this so much and want reams of this paper to play with!!!

Now I also love the stamp used for the sentiment. It comes from the Borders Abound Stamp Set which is a set I can’t wait to play more with.
I’ve die-cut the sentiment using the Tasteful Labels dies, punched holes on each end, and woven my ribbon through and under the sentiment piece. The sentiment piece is then attached with Dimensionals and finally, the ribbon is wrapped under the black layer and tied on the side.

I’ve also added some stamping to the sentiment piece of course. The flowers were colored in using Magenta Madness ink and my Wink of Stella brush. Unfortunately, you can’t see the shimmer created by the Wink of Stella in this photo but there are some additional photos ahead where you might be able to see it better. It’s hard to capture on camera.

For my third and final card, I’ve used another one of the stunning Artistry Blooms papers. I just adore the color combination in this piece of designer paper!
This combination of designer paper, stamping, and Wink of Stella with the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Drawn Blooms Stamp Set is simply magic to me!
Part of what makes it magical is that it’s just so simple yet stunning at the same time!

Now there are few additional details on this version I want to point out starting with the Elegant Faceted Gems at the bottom. These glittery gems just go so perfectly with the touches of Wink of Stella too. Can you see the subtle shimmer on some of the flowers in this close-up? So pretty right?!

On this version, I’ve also added multiple colors to the stamped elements on the sentiment plus I’ve applied the ink using my Wink of Stella Brush so they would shimmer too!

It’s so easy to use the Wink of Stella brush in this way! All you need is a droplet of ink in the lid of your ink pad OR you can simply touch the tip of the brush onto the ink pad itself to pick up some color!

Just make sure that when you switch colors (and when you’re done coloring) that you color on your scratch paper with the Wink of Stella brush until there’s no more color on the brush. That way you won’t accidentally apply color next time you use it! I’ve colored here with Gorgeous Grape, Seaside Spray, Granny Apple Green, and the tiniest bit of Rich Razzleberry on the bottom right.

I sure hope you’ve enjoyed my cards today with the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Drawn Blooms stamp set! They were a blast to create!
