Check out my two Swing Easel cards with a Christmas theme!
These fun fold cards include a multilayered wreath made with the All Around Wreath Dies.
Ahead you’ll find two graphics to help you create your own Swing Easel cards. The first graphic shows the scoring and cutting details, and the other one shows the basic building blocks for creating your multilayered wreath.

These swing easel cards were inspired by my friend, fellow demonstrator, and very talented crafter, Wendy Lee.
She made a Thanksgiving-themed swing easel card that she recently gave to me. I was so blown away by her card that I just had to make my own! Her card was featured on Splitcoast Stampers last month. Here is her card:

Now, in addition to wanting to make this card myself, I immediately thought of my team and how much they would also love to make this fun fold card.
So, I designed these Christmas themed swing easel cards with my team in mind. This was one of the make n’ takes at my recent team gathering. To learn more about joining my team click HERE. Also, if you buy the starter kit by November 30th you’ll get access to my Cotton Candy Technique class for FREE, plus future technique classes from me as well. The starter kit is completely customizable too!

This first version is made with the gorgeous Christmastime Is Here specialty designer series paper. The pattern I used here is slightly different from what my team made, only because I ran out of the patterns I used for the make n’ take. I am loving this paper and have pretty much used up the whole pack!
For these cards, I’ve also used two stamp sets and the Ornate Frames dies.
In this version, I used an image from the Christmas Countdown stamp set, to stamp on the card body. The sentiment was stamped using an image from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

- Important Detail: The sentiment and backing are both popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. These raised up pieces serve as a bumper so the card stands up like an easel.
There is a white panel on the inside so there’s a place to write, as you can see here:

This card also folds flat so it can be mailed as well.
You’d definitely need extra postage for a card like this one!

My second Swing Easel card is made with the Toile Tidings designer series paper.
The color scheme on this one is Early Espresso, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, and Gold. I’ve also used the 1/4″ gold shimmer ribbon and embellishments from the Christmastime Is Here Suite, on this card. I’ve also used an added strip of Garden Green cardstock under the ribbon since this ribbon is quite a bit more narrow than on the other card.
Just so you know, the Christmastime Is Here suite is only available while supplies last so don’t delay purchasing these products if you love them!

Check out the deer in the center of the wreath. I love how my wreath, framed the deer on the designer paper!

Here’s this version folded flat:

While I varied the ribbon and designer paper for these two swing Easel cards I used the following three products to make both:

I’ve got a few additional resources for you if you plan to make your own Swing Easel Cards including…
- A graphic that shows the scoring and cutting details
- Another graphic that shows the basic building blocks for creating your multilayered wreath.
- A video showing how to build one of these cards. In the video, there are details and tips that are not spelled out in this post so I recommend watching if you want to make one of these cards!
Scoring and Cutting Graphic:

Building Blocks for Your Wreath:
I curled the leaves on my wreaths. Be careful not to tear any leaves off. I tore off one of my Old Olive leaves (layer #1) but was able to cover it up when I assembled my wreath. 🙂
