This post originally went live on 4/1/17. The project uses the Petal Burst embossing folder that I love and will be retiring on 6/3/19. I just had to share before it’s gone for good!
I just love this Petal Burst Embossing Folder with the Impressions of Tarnished Foil Technique!
This focal piece uses Copper Foil with Silver and Gold Embossing Powders. You should be able to see all the metallic shades well in these close-ups.
Plus check out some of the great texture that shows up here with the black on the metallics! This texture is really a signature element of the technique and I love it!
So at the moment, I’m a little obsessed with this technique. Can you tell?
