Three Z-Fold Card Ideas

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing three Z-Fold Card Ideas! One card features the NEW Forever Fern Stamp Set and the other two are made with the Painted Harvest set.

The first pair of z-fold card ideas was one of my three May/June 2020 Club and Free Card Kit projects. Now my club and free card kit program runs on a two-month cycle. So, for the May/June projects, I generally have to choose if I’m going to show retiring products or new products.

May is a great time to share products that are retiring and in June sharing new products is the way to go! These last few months have been super busy and so I’ve found myself a bit behind schedule. That said, this post is coming out quite a bit later than usual so I’m featuring BOTH retired and new products in my projects!

This first pair of cards are made with the Painted Harvest Stamp Set, Stitched Shapes dies and the ornate floral embossing folder. This stamp set retired as of June 3, 2020, but fortunately, the other products are still available.

These two cards also feature two of the now-retired 2018 – 2020 In Colors. The card base here is made with Pineapple Punch cardstock, one of these retired colors.

The sunflower, is created using two images that lay over one another. The two colors used are Pineapple Punch and Pumpkin Pie.

This next card uses the fern images in the Painted Harvest Stamp Set and is also created using two-step stamping.

The color scheme here is Call me Clover, Shaded Spruce and Early Espresso. The card base is made with, Call me Clover, one of the now retired 2018 – 2020 In Colors.

If you receive free card kits from me for purchases in May/June 2020, the kit you’ll receive will include the parts and pieces to make either (or both) of the Pineapple Punch or Call Me Clover cards above.

This next card features my absolute favorite set in the new 2020 -2021 Annual Catalog! I’ve been having so much fun with the Forever Fern Stamp Set!

Even though I love the first two cards I think this one is my favorite of these three z-fold card ideas.

The other featured product here is the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. I think this is going to be my new go-to folder, right up there with the Subtle 3-D embossing folder. It’s just so versatile!!!

Here’s my z-fold card all the way open. You’ll want to burnish your score lines well on all of these z-fold cards to help them lay flat.

My sentiment image is also from the Forever Fern stamp set. It’s heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I love this added accent of gold combined with the gold twine which is also part of the Forever Greenery suite of products.
