Unique Homemade Christmas Cards

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing some unique homemade Christmas Cards that I think of as non-traditional.

They are sparkly and special which makes them look like Christmas, but you could also change out the sentiment and easily transform these cards into any type of card you desire. Both of my cards today are made with the Very Versailles and Perfectly Plaid Stamp Sets.

Check out two Dramatic and Unique Homemade Christmas Cards, made with the Very Versailles and Perfectly Plaid Stamp Sets plus the Tasteful Backgrounds Dies.

My first card features the Black Shimmer Embossing Powder, which I absolutely love. I’m sure you can see the sparkle and shine in the embossed leaves in the photo here.

For my second card, I’ve used the Tasteful Backgrounds dies for my negative space cut out on the bottom.

I just love how the Real Red Glimmer paper shows through this beautiful die-cut shape!

Here are a couple of additional details about this card:

  • I used White Shimmer Embossing powder for the foliage and sentiment. It’s a little hard to see the sparkle and shine in these photos. I tried to capture it but I just wasn’t able to. Believe me, it’s really pretty in person!
  • The die-cut piece is dry embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.
  • The foliage piece is also stamped and heat embossed with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder, with the script image from the Very Versaille Stamp Set. It’s a very subtle element but just so pretty in person!
