Valentine Keepsakes Stamp Set Project

I just love the cute images in the new Valentine Keepsakes Stamp Set!

Valentines Day is coming soon and so I just had to play with my Valentine Keepsakes Stamp Set to make this adorable and striking card.

I’ve used my new Blending Brushes, with three different ink colors to add color to my stamped pieces. For each one, the center is left a bit lighter than the rest to create some variation in the color. Blushing Bride ink was used on the panel on the left and for the center panel, I used Sahara Sand ink.

For the “heart garden” focal element in the lower right, I’ve used Blushing Bride ink around the edges of the bottom half and Rococo Rose ink around the edges of the top half. A larger area of white was left in the middle for some additional interest.

In the close up photo below, check out the gorgeous Blushing Bride ribbon! It’s got a satin finish on the hidden side and a metallic glittery look on the side shown here. I just adore it and it makes a great backdrop for my adorable sentiment! The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder and flanked with a small rhinestone for a touch of bling.

I’ve actually created two versions of my sentiment. The second one is simply black ink on white cardstock with Blushing Bride gems. If you receive this project as a kit in the mail, you’ll get both a white and black piece so you can choose how you want to make yours. In this version, the hearts have a touch of Wink of Stella on them as well.

So are you wondering how I got the adorable shape for my sentiment piece?

I punched my sentiment pieces using the Treasured Tags Pick A Punch which is my favorite new punch!!!

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my project with the Valentine Keepsakes Stamp Set!
