In this post, you’ll learn a simple trick for creating two different cards with the same exact cardstock and layering with one simple change.
Today’s cards feature winter scenes with the Snow Front Stamp Set. When I was designing projects for my Clubs and Free Card Kits program participants I couldn’t decide between two cards that I had made. The first one was this wintery scene using Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso, Soft Suede, and Gray Granite. I’ve also used Puff Paint for some added snow. Here’s my first card:

For this next card, I created a focal piece CASED from a project I saw on Pinterest. I just love the simplicity of this scene and new my club members would love this simple option. So… I couldn’t decide between the two and then I had an idea that maybe I could design a third option that would allow them to stamp either scene but use the same exact cardstock and layering.

For this third card, I simply stamped all the images, like in the first card, and then added some blue mountains into the background.

I made this ONE SIMPLE CHANGE and voila, I was able to use this focal piece on the same card layering as for the second card!
So most of my stamp club members make two of each card design but in this case, they could stamp the focal piece with two of the same, or one of each, of these winter scenes with the Snow Front set! It was fun to see what they each chose to do.

I love that by adding the blue to this focal piece, it kind of transformed the whole look. I love the mountains and the forest, so I especially love this alternative design!

For these cards, I’ve also used my Rectangle Stitched Dies for the focal pieces. I just LOVE these versatile dies!

So which is your favorite of these winter scenes with the Snow Front set?
I love them all so I wouldn’t really be able to pick myself, but comment and let me know what you think, just for fun!
